Grabowhöfe Manor

To be privately owned

Grabowhöfe Manor House is a historic estate located in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is an example of the architecture of its time.

History+

The origins of Grabowhöfe Manor House date back to 1800, when Count Friedrich von Hahn had a half-timbered building constructed, which still stands today. The von Hahn family, an old Mecklenburg noble lineage first documented in 1230, owned lands in the region. After the end of World War II, in 1945, the then owners were dispossessed and expelled from the manor house as part of the land reform in the Soviet occupation zone.
