Groß Brütz Manor

The Groß Brütz manor was owned by the von Lützow family in 1784. In 1862, Heinrich Freiherr von Lützow sold the property to Georg Johannes Bock. In 1880, the manor house was renovated and extended. The last owner, Ernst Albrecht Bock, was dispossessed and expelled by the communists in 1945.

In 1999, Groß Brütz was acquired by Juliane Lösch née Grün and transferred in the same year to her son Hans Michael Jebsen, a great-grandson of G. J. Bock, who had the building thoroughly restored between 2000 and 2004. The interior was designed with great love and effort. At the end of July 2004, the manor building was reopened during a festive family celebration in the presence of numerous descendants of Georg Johannes and Hans Christian Bock. The spacious park with its old protected trees, including a 200-year-old magnolia, and well-maintained gravel paths provided a fitting setting for this.

The manor house is currently rented and inhabited by a great-grandson of Georg Johannes Bock. Rooms on the upper floor are rented to hunting students of the Gut Grambow Hunting School and holidaymakers.
