The von Müller family

The manor house in Groß Lunow (extension) was built in 1884. The predecessor building (old building) could be somewhat older. The von Müller family, a noble family originating from the Wittenburg area, previously managed the estate in Groß Renzow. Christoph von Müller and his wife Catharina von Müller, née Löppel, were able to acquire the estate in Groß Lunow for 70,000 Thalers at the beginning of the 19th century. They managed it until their forced expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945. In 2008, the estate complex passed into private ownership.
