The Hohenschulen Manor House, a manor and estate house, is located in the municipality of Achterwehr-Hohenschulen. It has a historical connection to a larger estate and was subsequently used as an agricultural research facility.
History+
Originally, the Hohenschulen estate was part of the Klein-Nordsee estate, situated in Felde. The current manor house and its associated dairy were constructed around the year 1802. From 1948 onwards, the property served as an experimental farm for the Institute for Crop Science and Plant Breeding at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel.
