The manor house was built in 1786-89 by the Kaehne family. In 1850, the Schulze and Hildebrand families built a brewery on the grounds behind the manor house. On July 1, 1889, the entrepreneur Friedrich Wilhelm Lendel founded his fruit processing business. From 1916, the Lendel family lived in the manor house (Lendelhaus). In 1935, Friedrich Wilhelm Lendel died and his wife Lucie Lendel took over the business as brewmaster. In 1945, the owners were expropriated and expelled by the communists. In the summer of 1945, Russian soldiers and later refugees were quartered in the manor house. From 1971-1990, VEB Havelland produced on the grounds of the estate. In August 2009, the first development phase was opened with a gastronomic operation and artistic revitalization of the courtyard through gallery and studio spaces. In 2012, the renovated rooms of the cooperage and the longhouse were opened for use as seminar and event rooms and 8 apartments.
