Gutshaus Klein Belitz+
Geschichte+
The locality of Klein Belitz was first mentioned in a document in 1270. The estate was owned by the von Langen family from 1755 to 1925. The manor house was built in 1825. The last owner of the Klein Belitz estate was Carl-Friedrich von Langen, who won two gold medals in dressage at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. In 1931, the estate was settled. In 1945, the owners were forcibly dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Thereafter, the manor house served as accommodation for refugees and from 1960 to 2003 as a school.
