History+

The village of Krügersdorf was first documented in 1344. From early on, the locality had a knight's estate, whose owners also held patronage over the church. In 1369, a Claws van Crugerstorph is first mentioned as a possible owner. The von Große family appeared as named proprietors in 1425, when Botho von Grosse assisted Johann von Biberstein in a raid on Beeskow. Subsequently, Heinrich and Friedrich von Große owned the estate until Simon von Große lost it in the 1530s to Georg von Blumenthal, then Bishop of Lebus and Lord of Beeskow. Hans von Steinkeller, captain of Beeskow, was enfeoffed with Krügersdorf in 1534.
