Lalendorf Manor

The manor house was built around 1900 on the foundations of a predecessor building dating from the 18th century. The estate owners were Carl Adolf von Wedemeyer and the Paetow family, who were forcibly dispossessed and expelled by the communists in 1945. After 1945, refugees were housed in the building, and from 1950 to 1976, it served as the village school of Lalendorf. In 1992, the dilapidated manor house became private property and was extensively renovated. From 1993, it served as a home for children and young people. Today, the house accommodates holiday apartments and is for sale.
