In 1608, Christoph von der Lancken built the manor and had a manor house constructed. In 1679, the manor house was rebuilt and extended. In 1721, the manor house was rebuilt into its current form. The estate remained in the possession of the von der Lancken family until 1878. After this, it was sold to Max Wandhausen. Later, ownership changed to the Klincke family. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed by the communists. In 1997, Axel von der Lancken bought back the property and began with clean-up work and initiated construction measures.
