The manor house originated in 1819 from an outwork of Baumgarten and was founded and named by Ludwig Ferdinand Keibel. The manor house was built in 1819/20 based on an early design by Eduard Knoblauch. The Keibel family managed it for four generations until the expropriation in 1945.
