The Moosschwaige Manor House is a secluded estate in western Munich, an ensemble of buildings under monument protection. It represents one of the last preserved farmsteads of its kind, characterized by its solitary location and the tree-lined avenue approach.

History+

First documented either in 1808 or 1812, the Moosschwaige, whose name refers to a cattle farm in the moor, originally belonged to the Freiham estate located to the southeast. In 1818, the Moosschwaige became part of the newly established municipality of Aubing, before being incorporated into Munich along with Aubing in 1942.
