The manor house in Neuhof was built in the 16th century on a fieldstone foundation. In 1805 (after the death of his father Joseph Christian Heinrich von Maltzan), Ferdinand von Maltzan received the Neuhof estate near Penzlin together with his brothers Friedrich and Adolph.
