Gutshaus Osterrade, a historic manor and estate house in Schleswig-Holstein, was originally built in the 16th century and later redesigned in the 18th century.

History+

The origins of the Osterrade estate date back to the 16th century when it was constructed by the von Sehestedt family. The current manor house was erected in 1723 under the patronage of Detlev von Brockdorff. The building underwent a Neoclassical transformation. In 1972, ownership of the estate transferred to the Princes of Schaumburg-Lippe, who acquired it through the House Foundation of the Princes and Landgraves of Hesse.
