Priort Manor

In the middle of the 15th century, a division of property between the Stechows and the Prigardes took place, resulting in two knightly estates. A short time later, however, the lands were again in the sole possession of the Prigarde family.

From 1518, the city of Spandau was entitled to grain leases in Priort, and from 1699, the Priorter Krug (inn) also belonged to Spandau's monopoly area – beer could only be sourced from Spandau breweries. The inheritance register was also kept in Spandau at that time.

In 1680, both knightly estates were sold by Cuno von Priort, a descendant of the Prigarde family, to the Cathedral Provost von Grote. His grandchildren sold them further in 1742 to the Huguenot immigrant Jean Jacques de Digeon Baron de Monteton (1701–1765). The estates remained in the possession of his descendants until 1935.

According to a report by the Potsdamer Neueste Nachrichten from 1980, the former Priorter manor house, converted for elderly-friendly living in 1988, was among the monuments of the Nauen district at that time.
