Das Gut Rankendorf

Rankendorf was owned by the Lords of Both in 1220. The ownership changed to the von Bülow family in 1764, to the von Müller family at the beginning of the 19th century, and to the von Bobsien family in 1890, who erected the manor house on the walls of a previous building. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After this, the house served as a nursing home until 1990. Subsequently, the von Bobsien family was able to partially repurchase their old property and renovated the manor house.
