Rattelvitz Manor
Gutshaus Rattelvitz, a historic manor house, is located in the Rattelvitz district of the municipality of Gingst on the island of Rügen.
History+
The first documented mention of the Rattelvitz estate dates back to 1318. From the 15th century onwards, it was part of the knightly estates of the von der Osten family. In 1817, the estate passed into the possession of the von Platen family. The original location of the farm, recorded on Hagenow's map of 1829, was north of Volsvitz directly on the Wittenberger Strom. During the first half of the 19th century, the farm was moved about one kilometer to the south.

Today, Gutshaus Rattelvitz is a protected architectural monument and remains in private ownership. It is listed in the monument register of the Rügen district under number 620.
