History+

The origins of the Rixdorf estate may trace back to a knight named Ryckestorp, who was mentioned in 1369 as the owner of the nearby Lehmkuhlen estate. Between 1730 and 1740, the manor house underwent renovation under the direction of master builder Rudolph Matthias Dallin. Since 1790, the property has been owned by the Counts of Westphalen zu Fürstenberg. In 1928, the estate district was dissolved, leading to the formation of the municipalities of Rathjensdorf (later Tramm), Lebrade, and Mucheln.
