Roitzsch Manor

The manor house in Roitzsch is a two-story plastered building with a hipped roof. The main building was constructed around 1800, and the west wing was added in 1848. The building is a listed monument.

The manor house is part of a former manor complex, which also included a park, a barn, and other outbuildings. The manor complex was built in the 16th century and was owned by various noble families over the centuries.

After World War II, the manor house was used as a municipal council building and later as a residential building. After 1990, the building stood empty for a long time and fell into disrepair. In 2004, the west wing was already in a very dilapidated state.

In 2007, the manor house was acquired by a private investor and extensively renovated. Today, the manor house is used as a residential building and for events.
