The manor house was built around 1690, destroyed in 1722, and rebuilt between 1841 and 1849.

The history of the manor house in Griebenow is closely linked to the noble family von Bohlen. The first manor house was built around 1690 by Philip Christof von Bohlen. This building was destroyed by a fire in 1722. It was not until 1841 that the then owner, Carl von Bohlen, began rebuilding the manor house. The construction work lasted until 1849.

The manor house remained in the possession of the von Bohlen family until 1945. After the Second World War, the building was used for various purposes, including as a school, a doctor's office, and residential units. After German reunification, the manor house was privatized and extensively renovated.

The manor house of Griebenow is a two-story plastered building with a hipped roof. The facade is characterized by a central risalit and a portico with four columns. The architectural style is predominantly Neoclassical, reflecting the taste of the mid-19th century.

Inside, some of the original stucco ceilings and wall paintings have been preserved. Particularly noteworthy is the grand hall on the ground floor, which was used for festive occasions. The manor house is surrounded by a spacious park, which was probably laid out at the same time as the rebuilding of the house.

Today, the manor house of Griebenow is privately owned and is used as a residential building. Parts of the building are also available for events and celebrations. The park is open to the public and invites visitors for walks.
