18th and 19th Century
The Rothen estate was founded around 1780 by the von Bülow family. Ownership then changed in 1840 to Friedrich Fabricius, who built the manor house around 1850. In 1887, A. F. von Oertzen bought the property.
20th Century
In 1926, the manor house was rebuilt. In 1945, the von Oertzen family was dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After this, the house served as a cooperative store, apartments, and a post office.
21st Century
In 2004, ownership changed to G. and C. Lehsten, who renovated the house and set up holiday apartments.
