Samow Manor

The manor house was built in 1658 and extensively rebuilt in 1810. The owner was the noble family von Moltke. Almost all outbuildings of the estate have disappeared over the years - only one farm building (coach house), which today houses the Hofrestaurant, still exists. The ice cellar is located in the left annex of the manor house. In 1786, the estate was sold and changed owners four times in the following years. In 1901, the noble family von Polier acquired the estate and resided here until their forced expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945.

After the reunification, the great-grandson Marc von Polier was able to reacquire the dilapidated house. He had it extensively renovated and established a castle hotel. There are 8 apartments in the house and the seminar rooms can be booked for conferences.
