In the municipality of Neukirchen-Satjewitz in Schleswig-Holstein is Gutshaus Satjewitz, a historic manor house. It reflects a development from the late 18th century to the 19th century.
History+
The village of Satjewitz, from which the estate emerged, was first mentioned in 1433. The original manor house, a single-story plastered building with a half-hipped roof, was constructed at the end of the 18th century. In 1856, the von der Marwitz family acquired the property and owned it until 1945. During this period, the manor house was extended with a two-story side wing and a tower with a pointed spire. After 1945, the building served various purposes, including as a residential building and a school. In the 1990s, it was privatized and renovated.

Today, Gutshaus Satjewitz is privately owned and used as a residential building. It is not accessible to the public.
