Manor Schenkenberg

To be privately owned

The place was first mentioned in 1256 and came to the von Pfuel family in 1478. The former manor house stood west of the village church. In 1898 the manor burned down; the fire also destroyed the church, which was rebuilt in 1900. In 1937, the estate owner Nordahl donated stained glass windows. In 1945, the last owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists.
