History of the Manor House+

The estate was owned by the von Rieben family since the 15th century. In 1820, ownership changed to August Georg Carl Michael. He built the manor house in 1843 according to plans by Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel. The farm buildings were erected in the years 1854-55. In 1945, the owners were expropriated and expelled by the communists. After this, the manor house was used as accommodation for refugees. Later, the house served as an LPG kitchen, kindergarten, and school. In 1998, Peter Schmidt and Petra Sauer acquired the property.
