Das Gut war im 18. Jahrhundert im Besitz der Familie von Bardeleben. 1812 wurde das heutige Gutshaus auf den Mauern eines Vorgängerbaues von Familie Friedrich Schneider errichtet. Nach 1945 bis 1991 diente das Haus als Lehrlingswohnheim.
