Sohlen Manor

The property was once part of the Schaeper knight's estate and was built in 1908 by architect Baljes. From 1917, the settlement of Willishof, which served as an outwork, also temporarily belonged to the estate. After its expropriation in 1945, the manor house was used as a school from 1946 until the 1990s. Later, it served as a socio-cultural center, housing local history exhibitions on the upper floor. In 1978, major alterations took place, including a rear extension that was later removed to restore the original design of the garden exit in a more modern form.
