The Stift estate was part of the Seekamp estate until 1789 and was subsequently settled. In 1915, Richard Georg Danielsen bought the property. From 1919-20, the current manor house was built. After R. G. Danielsen's bankruptcy in 1923, he sold the entire estate to 5 new owners.
