History+

The Tützpatz estate passed from the von Maltzahn family to Karl Friedrich von Linden in 1776. In 1779, he commissioned the construction of a new manor house, built in the style of a Dutch Baroque castle. Through inheritance, the estate came into the possession of Georg Christian von Heyden in 1785, who subsequently changed his name to Heyden-Linden. The von Heyden-Linden family owned the estate until its expropriation in 1945. After a fire in 1908, the manor house was largely rebuilt true to its original form by Albrecht von Heyden-Linden.
