Wietzow Manor

In the 15th century, Wietzow was a feudal estate of the von Perselin family. In the 17th century, it passed to the von Blücher family and served as an outwork of Daberkow. At the beginning of the 18th century, the Pomeranian possessions of the Blüchers transferred to the von Linden family. Karl Friedrich von Linden commissioned the creation of an English landscape park after 1750. Via the families von Heyden-Linden and von Neetzow, the estate came into the possession of Adolf Graf von Blücher in 1865, who had the baroque manor house redesigned in Neo-Gothic style. Until 1945, the estate changed owners several times, with Wolf-Eginhard von Kruse being the last aristocratic owner.
