Kleinbeeren Manor

The former manor house was built as a Renaissance building around 1600 by the von Beeren family. In the 19th century, the house was expanded. Since 1881, the estate has been owned by the city of Berlin. The estate lands were converted into a sewage farm, and the manor house, along with its ancillary facilities, was used by the city of Berlin for decades as a home for "fallen girls." At the end of World War II and in the first post-war years, displaced persons and resettlers lived here. Later, parts of the old estate fell into disrepair. The manor farm is still inhabited by some families today, was formerly used for agriculture, and has now been available to businesses for several years.
