Boisdorf Manor

The first written mention of Haus Boisdorf dates to the 16th century. Wall anchors on the manor house indicate the year 1532 as its construction or restoration date. It was originally a fief of the Duke of Jülich. In the late 19th century, the property passed into civilian ownership and was donated to the city of Düren in the mid-1930s. After World War II, the moats were filled in. The estate was used for agriculture for some time but stood vacant from the mid-1980s. In 1993, it was acquired and renovated starting in 1994, with bomb-damaged areas being restored to their original condition. Since 1995, it has served as a company headquarters.
