Boulich Manor

The origins of the estate, whose name "Bulliacum" might suggest a Roman-Celtic heritage, are rooted in the past. The Enzelhof settlement once belonged to Prüm Abbey. In the 14th century, the estate was mentioned as a knight's fee and retained its right to be represented in the regional assembly until the 19th century. Through the marriage of Sophia von Boulich, the property passed to Richard Krümmel von Nechtersheim at the beginning of the 16th century, who owned it until 1604. Later, ownership transferred to the Olmissen genannt Mulstroe family through marriage. In 1681, the estate was pledged to Timan von Nickel, who subsequently had the current manor house built in the style of Müddersheim Castle. Tilmann's son-in-law, Werner Krey, was enfeoffed with the property in 1731. Records from 1859 list Hartmann, another son-in-law of the Krey family, as the owner.
