Crengeldanz Manor
Haus Crengeldanz was a noble seat in the district of Crengeldanz in Witten. In the 14th century, it was owned by the ministerial family von Dücker. Hermann von Witten-Steinhausen (1374-1435) married into this family. This gave rise to the Witten-Crengeldanz line.
The main house from the Baroque period dates back to 1706, and the outbuildings presumably date from the same time.
Around 1825, Gustav and Theodor Müllensiefen founded a glassworks on the site, which belongs to Flachglas AG and now to the Pilkington company. They also built Villa Müllensiefen as their residence. The garden city of Crengeldanz is also in the immediate vicinity.
Haus Crengeldanz has been a listed building since August 20, 1984.
