Haus Dahl, a manor and estate house, is located in Hagen-Dahl. Built on the foundations of an older castle complex.
History+
The origins of the estate trace back to a castle that was destroyed by fire in 1729. On this site, District Administrator Friedrich Gerstein had the current Haus Dahl erected in 1823. The Neoclassical patrician building was part of an estate comprising 1600 acres of land, supplemented by a grain mill and 32 tenant cottages and farms, which stretched along both sides of the Volme river.
