Dahlhausen Manor

The origins of Haus Dahlhausen date back to the 14th century, when it was owned by the von Dahlhausen family. In 1546, the estate changed hands through marriage to the von Düngelen family. Anna von Düngelen married Jörgen Christoph von Schell in 1644. The current half-timbered manor house was built between 1794 and 1799. With the death of Karl Ferdinand Franz Philipp Amalius Freiherr von Düngelen in 1802, who died without male heirs, the Düngelen era ended. From 1809, the estate passed to the Müller/Schragmüller family.
