History+
The construction of Haus Dorloh took place between 1869 and 1872. Carl Gisbert Wilhelm von Bodelschwingh-Plettenberg commissioned the building for his daughter Wilhelmine, who was married to Dodo zu Innhausen und Knyphausen, based on a design by the Dortmund master builder König. In 1877, the complex was expanded with additional farm buildings. The name of the house originates from the original field name "Auf dem Dorloh".
