Haus Ficht, also known as Burghaus Classen, is an upper-class residence in Aachen. Its architecture imitates medieval castles and is an example of historicism in the Rhineland.

History+

The building was constructed between 1899 and 1900 according to the plans of architect Friedrich Pützer. It was erected on an irregular footprint within what was originally an expansive park landscape. The design of the house, featuring quarry stone and half-timbering, incorporates elements of medieval castle construction. A large part of the original interior furnishings, including wall coverings and furniture, has been preserved to this day. The property is a protected monument.
