Heilenbecke Manor

According to tradition, the main building of Haus Heilenbecke was constructed in 1784 and 1785. Eberhard Haarmann from Breckerfeld was responsible as the master builder, while Johann Peter Heilenbeck, a hammer mill owner and receptor, acted as the patron. Originally, the house had a square floor plan with curved central gables facing the street and the garden. Between 1830 and 1840, an extension was added to the north, which stylistically aligned with the original building but was executed more simply. In 1919, a carter's house was built south of the main building, and a simple 19th-century worker's house completes the ensemble.
