Haus Lützeler is a castle located in Inden, Düren district, North Rhine-Westphalia, at an elevation of approximately 104 meters above sea level. It is a former moated complex that has preserved its original rectangular layout to this day.

History+

The first documentary mention of Haus Lützeler dates back to 1398. At that time, Johann Vruntgin von Lutzelen and his wife Bela sold their farm in Lucherberg to Carsilius von Palant, who simultaneously acquired the Lützeler farm from Peter von Loyvenberg. The von Palant family shaped the complex and remained in possession of the property until the end of the 17th century. Around 1700, the castle passed into the ownership of Johann Caspar Gilles.
