History+

The Rocholz estate was originally a noble seat of the Berchem family, with its manor house dating back to the 17th century. The property also included various farm and stable buildings. During the Nazi dictatorship, a forced labor camp for local companies was operated on the grounds. After a period of decay, the estate was acquired by an investor and converted for residential use. The existing buildings were divided into residential units, and new houses were added. In 2009 and 2013, heavy rainfall led to floods affecting several apartments.
