Haus Rommeljans in Ratingen-Schwarzbach is a manor and estate house that once served as a fortified knight's seat. Its history dates back to the early 16th century.

Haus Rommeljans was first documented in 1517 in a register of income for the Ratingen sacristy. Between 1551 and 1555, the Lords of Buer transformed it into a fortified knight's seat, taking the form of a moated castle with a tower. In 1555, Haus Rommeljans was officially registered as a knight's seat and subsequently managed as a manorial estate eligible to attend the regional assembly. The Buer family owned the property until 1758. It then passed to the Staël von Holstein family (1758-1763), followed by the Lauterbach (1763-1784) and Spieker (1784-1823) families.
