Schönfeld Manor

In the 17th century, the Schönfeld estate was owned by Friedrich-Wilhelm von Gödel, who served as a timber judge in the Hülsberger Mark. Around the mid-19th century, the von Gödel family was still resident on the property and maintained relations with Friedrich Peter Hülsberg, the then estate owner. Towards the end of the 19th century, the estate passed into the possession of the Hülsberg family. The current manor house, a two-story building from 1890, was erected as a residence for a family with staff.
