Schönfeld Manor
Gut Schönfeld is a former noble estate in the eastern Ruhr area. It is located in the Vorhalle district of the independent city of Hagen.
In the 17th century, Gut Schönfeld was owned by Friedrich-Wilhelm von Gödel, who was a forest judge in the Hülsberger Mark. Around 1850, the von Gödel family was still residing on the estate and was friends with the estate owner Friedrich Peter Hülsberg. At the end of the 19th century, the estate passed into the possession of the Hülsberg family.
The manor house is now owned by the city of Hagen and is used as a residential building. Outbuildings of the estate include a milk kitchen, a farm worker's house, and the half-timbered house "Unter den Eichen".

The manor house is a two-story building from 1890, which was built as a stately residence for a family with staff. The outer walls of the vaulted cellar consist of quarry stone, while the above-ground floors were constructed from half-timbering. The house is topped by a tile-covered combination of a gable and a half-hipped roof.
