Haus Wenne is a historic manor and estate house in the municipality of Eslohe in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hochsauerlandkreis district. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 284 meters above sea level.

History+

The first documented mention of Haus Wenne dates back to 1371. Initially, it served as the ancestral seat of the Lords of Wenne. In 1412, the property passed to the Rumpf zur Wenne family, and by the end of the 14th century, the von Cobbenrode family became its owners. The bailiffs of Elspe (Gibeldey) also held shares in Haus Wenne and its associated estates, which they sold to Rotger Rump and his wife Stine on October 1, 1413.
