The Heesenburg is located in Dieblich in the Mayen-Koblenz district. This structure dates back to the 13th century.
History+
The Heesenburg's origins trace back to the 13th century, when it was owned by the Koblenz family von der Arken. In 1514, Marsilius von Arken sold the property to the Muhl von Ulmen family. In 1762, Baron Johann Philipp Ernst von und zu der Hees took possession of the castle.

Today, the Heesenburg is privately owned. On the east side, there is a single-story half-timbered building with a dwarf gable. On the southwest corner, one of the original four oriel windows was reconstructed as an octagonal half-timbered oriel.
