History+

Aldenhoven was first mentioned in 1500 as "alde Houe", later also referred to as "Altenhof". Around 1615, the estate was expanded, a gatehouse was built in 1734, and at the end of the 19th century, its decline began. While owned by the Lassek family, the manor house burned down in 1931. Today, the former outer bailey is used as a farm.
