Alt Plestlin Manor

The origins of the Plestlin estate date back to the 13th century, when it was first mentioned as a knightly possession. From the 16th to the mid-17th century, the estate belonged to the noble Suckow family. After the death of the last Suckow owner around 1660, Plestlin passed to the Barons von Keffenbrink during the Swedish era. They had the current manor house built around 1850. After the extinction of the baronial line in 1910, the property was annexed to the Fideikommiss of the Counts von Keffenbrink zu Griebenow. Through inheritance, the estate came into the possession of the Barons von Langen in 1920, who subsequently called themselves von Langen-Keffenbrinck. In 1945, the last noble owner was dispossessed.
