  • 1235 first documented mention of the estate "Amilgowiz" in a deed of gift from the Count of Brehna
  • until 1505 the estate is managed as a monastery farm
  • 1573 - 1638 owned by the von Holtzendorf family
  • 1638 - 1686 owners Schede family
  • further owners: Dr. Beringer 1686 - 1691; Dr. Beyer until 1724; 1737 - 1796 Thielemann family or heirs
  • 1796 Prof. Dr. Schmidt buys the manor
  • on 11.01.1855 Ammelsgoßwitz is removed from the manor register by cabinet order
  • 1872 - 1913 owned by the Popp family, who commissioned the construction of the current manor house around 1910 in Neo-Baroque style
  • 1928 owned by Max Schlenker, who had the Treblitzschen Park laid out
  • the former manor house stands empty in November 2003; the farm buildings have been partially renovated and are now used as residential buildings
