Baselitz Manor

To be privately owned

Baselitz is located south of Grossenhain. The local manor was once in the hands of the von Sahla family. The manor house was built in the 18th century. It features a central risalit with a superimposed triangular gable on the courtyard side. In 1945, the estate was occupied by the Red Army. The need for living space prevented the destruction of the manor house. Later, a kindergarten was housed there, before Meissner Agrarprodukte GmbH bought the house in 1991 and had it exemplarily renovated from 2004 to 2005.
