Bruchhausen Manor
In the Hubbelrath district of Düsseldorf is Herrenhaus Bruchhausen, a manor and estate house. It is the ancestral seat of the Knights of Broichhausen.
History+
The first documented mention of the ancestral seat of the Knights of Broichhausen dates back to 1218. The current building was constructed in the 20th century. The builder was the entrepreneur Alfred Haniel. In the park is an English oak, planted in 1679, which is considered the oldest oak in Düsseldorf.
