Bruchhausen Manor
Not far from the village of Hubbelrath in the Hubbelrath stream valley lies the ancestral seat of the Knights of Broichhausen, first mentioned in a document in 1218. The building existing today, in the style of the so-called "Rhenish Late Baroque," was built in the 20th century for the entrepreneur Alfred Haniel. The pedunculate oak standing in the park was planted in 1679 and is thus the oldest oak in Düsseldorf.
