History+

The origins of the Buckhagen estate date back to 1660, when the complex was first built. It was an integral part of the Angler estate district. The name of the estate suggests that it may once have been an enclosed pasture, possibly for sheep. A large part of the original moat surrounding the complex has been preserved to this day. In 1965, the interior of the manor house underwent restoration to preserve its historical substance.
